These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Whotechs governing your access to Knightish, its related services, and this website (collectively, the “Services”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you.
1. Limited license
Subject to these Terms, Whotechs grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Knightish for private, non-commercial entertainment. The Services, including code, art, audio, characters, text, game systems, trademarks, and other content, are owned by or licensed to Whotechs. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
2. Player conduct
You agree not to:
- Cheat, automate play, exploit bugs, manipulate rankings or rewards, or use unauthorized software.
- Reverse engineer, extract assets, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create unauthorized derivative works from the Services, except where law expressly permits.
- Disrupt servers, bypass security, access another player’s data, or introduce malicious code.
- Use the Services for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or infringing activity.
- Buy, sell, transfer, or share accounts or virtual items outside mechanisms we expressly provide.
We may investigate suspected violations and restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Services and players.
3. Accounts and progress
Knightish may use an anonymous or platform-linked identifier. You are responsible for your device and any activity through your account. Game progress can be affected by connectivity, device changes, account deletion, updates, or service changes. Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Purchases, subscriptions, and refunds
The Services may offer optional purchases. Prices, taxes, billing, refunds, and cancellation are handled by the app store through which you purchased and are subject to that store’s terms. Unless required by law or the store’s rules, purchases are final and non-refundable. You authorize the applicable store to charge your selected payment method.
Parents and guardians should secure device purchase controls. Deleting the Game or your Knightish account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by an app store.
5. Virtual items and game balance
Coins, marbles, gear, toys, pets, boosts, and other in-game content are licensed digital features, not money or property. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and may not be transferred unless the Game expressly allows it. We may rebalance, modify, limit, or discontinue virtual items or features to operate and improve the Game, subject to applicable law.
Some rewards may be randomized. Where required, applicable odds or reward information will be shown in the Game.
6. Rewarded ads and third-party services
Knightish may let you voluntarily view ads in exchange for an in-game reward. Ad delivery is not guaranteed, and rewards may be withheld where completion cannot be verified or abuse is detected. App stores, ad networks, platform services, and linked websites are governed by their own terms. Whotechs is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
7. Updates and availability
We may patch, update, test, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features or the Services. Maintenance, network failures, platform changes, or events beyond our reasonable control may interrupt access. We do not promise that any feature or content will always remain available.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whotechs and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity arising from the Services. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Whotechs for the Services in the six months before the claim or US$50, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
9. Indemnity
Where permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Whotechs for reasonable losses and costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services or material breach of these Terms. This does not apply where the loss results from Whotechs’ own conduct.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if the Services are discontinued. Provisions intended by their nature to survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Whotechs’ principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer law in your country requires otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and allow 30 days for an informal resolution. Your mandatory consumer rights and access to local courts remain unaffected.
12. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Material changes may be announced in the Game or on this page. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them as part of a reorganization or transfer of the Services.
