This Privacy Policy explains how Whotechs (“Whotechs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes information when you use Knightish, our dark medieval idle RPG (the “Game”), and this website.
By using the Game, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Data we process
Account and game data
Knightish may create an anonymous account identifier so that core features can work without asking for your name or email. We process that identifier together with progression, inventory, squad and equipment choices, settings, purchase status, event participation, and other gameplay records.
Device, diagnostics, and usage data
We may process device model, operating system and app version, language, approximate region derived from technical signals, advertising identifier where permitted, a locally generated or hashed device identifier, IP address, performance data, crash reports, screens viewed, feature interactions, and gameplay events.
Notifications and permissions
If you enable notifications, we process a push notification token and delivery or interaction events. The Game may request access to notifications, photos/media, or camera only when a feature needs it and subject to your device controls. We do not claim to collect every file or photo available on your device.
Purchases, ads, and support
App stores and purchase providers process payment details. We receive purchase identifiers, product, entitlement, price/currency, and transaction status—not full payment card details. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, ad partners may process advertising and device data. If you contact us, we process your email address, message, and any information you include.
2. How we use information
- Provide, save, synchronize, and restore gameplay and purchases.
- Operate combat, rankings, events, rewards, support, and notifications.
- Measure use, diagnose crashes, improve balance, performance, and player experience.
- Protect the Game, players, and services against abuse, fraud, and security threats.
- Deliver rewarded ads and measure their delivery where enabled.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Depending on where you live, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with law.
4. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including while your account is active, and as needed for security, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, or legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use legally recognized transfer safeguards.
5. Your choices and rights
You can control app permissions and advertising choices in your device settings, disable notifications, avoid optional rewarded ads, or stop using the Game. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent.
To exercise a privacy right, email support@whotechs.com. To permanently delete your Knightish account and associated data, follow our account deletion instructions. We may need to verify your request.
6. Children
Knightish is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum digital-consent age required where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Game and law change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. If changes are material, we may also provide an in-game notice where appropriate.
